Ian acts for the largest electric utility in British Columbia, and for several district energy utilities in connection with the regulation of their rates, infrastructure projects and services. He advises biofuel and renewable energy producers and waste energy distributors on regulatory requirements and transactions. He also advises market participants on the rules of interconnection and access to transportation services for electricity and natural gas.
