Stefanie is based in our Yellowknife office with a practice focused on civil litigation, labour and employment, tenancy law, guardianship and child protection law, development appeals, and a variety of disciplinary proceedings.
Stefanie has approximately 7 years’ experience practicing in the area of child protection law and 10 years experience as a litigator. Stefanie represents clients from all sectors, and from a variety of communities, within the Northwest Territories and Nunavut with experience representing clients in both public and private disputes as well as regulatory matters.
Within her labour and employment practice, Stefanie advises on all aspects of labour and employment law, including drafting, interpreting and enforcing employment contracts, termination agreements, workplace policies, workplace investigations and human rights.
Before moving to Yellowknife, Stefanie lived in Nunavut and has travelled to many remote communities throughout the North for the purposes of attending court, participating in negotiations/ mediations, and meeting with clients.
Prior to joining Lawson Lundell LLP, Stefanie practiced law in Toronto and Nunavut.
