Jack Yong to lead China Group at Lawson Lundell
 
Jack Yong, formerly with Gowling WLG, has joined Lawson Lundell LLP as a partner in Vancouver, where he will launch the firm’s new China Group.
 
Yong is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese. His China group team, which includes three associates, two paralegals, and a business development manager, will focus on clients from Asian markets. The group is experienced in advising on both inbound and outbound Chinese investments.
 
Yong’s practice embraces M&A, corporate reorganization, financing, partnership and joint ventures across a range of industries, including technology, manufacturing, real estate, natural resources and finance. He advises investors and companies in angel and venture capital financings, technology licensing transactions, co-development agreements and strategic alliances, and manufacturing and distribution arrangements.
