Craig Ferris, QC, FCIArb., Elected as the 2020 President of the Law Society of British Columbia
Lawson Lundell partner, Craig Ferris, QC, FCIArb., has been elected President of the Law Society of British Columbia for 2020. It is a great honour to be elected by your peers to this position, and a testament to Craig’s standing in British Columbia’s legal community.
Craig has been a partner at Lawson Lundell since 1998 and is currently the head of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Group. His particular areas of specialization include shareholder remedies, trust, pension and fiduciary disputes, securities and transactional litigation, product liability, mining disputes and real estate litigation. Craig has appeared in all levels of court in British Columbia as well as the Supreme Court of Canada.
The Advocate, a bi-monthly legal publication produced by the Law Society of British Columbia, features an article, written by four of Craig’s colleagues at Lawson Lundell, about his life and career. (The Advocate, Jan. 2020)
