Overview
Kelowna is the third-largest city in the province of British Columbia. Alongside its strong tourism and winery sectors, the advanced innovation and technology industry plays a significant role in the Okanagan economy, an area that our office in the region has been actively supporting as it continues to grow.
Lawson Lundell’s Kelowna office, established in February 2017 and originally based out of The Innovation Centre in downtown Kelowna, initially focused on supporting the burgeoning technology sector in the region. As the firm expanded, so did its range of services, encompassing corporate commercial law, intellectual property, commercial litigation, and corporate tax.
In February 2023, Kelowna-based Petraroia Langford LLP joined the firm, further strengthening our legal services and capabilities in the Okanagan region and beyond. Throughout this period, Lawson Lundell continued to serve its clients from two offices located at The Innovation Centre and the Landmark 6 building. On September 9, 2024, the downtown and Landmark offices merged, consolidating all lawyers and staff at the Landmark 6 office building.
Our team is recognized for its exceptional reputation and experience in corporate and commercial law, litigation, corporate finance, technology, intellectual property, tax, labor and employment, real estate, wealth management, and estate planning.
