Biography
Chris practises corporate and commercial law. He assists corporate and individual clients on a variety of matters, including business entity formations, asset and share acquisitions and dispositions, corporate reorganizations, general corporate governance, and drafting of various types of commercial agreements and contracts. Further, he also advises societies and charities in regards to its general governance matters and transition/continuation procedures.
Chris started with Lawson Lundell in 2014 as a summer student and joined the firm as an associate upon the completion of his articles. Prior to joining Lawson Lundell and pursuing a legal career, Chris practiced several years as a senior consultant and auditor in the Vancouver office of an international accounting firm specializing in IT risk and assurance.

Chris' Experience Includes:
- Assisting clients with the drafting of various types of commercial agreements, including shareholder, partnership and sponsorship agreements
- Advising multiple charities, societies and student organization on corporate governance matters and transition procedures under the Societies Act (BC)
- Drafting of privacy policies and confidentiality agreements for companies and organizations
Transaction Related Experience
- Assisted on acquisitions by a leading BC insurance broker of other retail insurance brokerage businesses
- Assisted with the acquisition of Kramer Auctions by Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers Incorporated (Ritchie Bros.)
- Assisted with the transaction involving ZAPI S.p.A. (ZAPI), a manufacturer of electronic speed controllers for application in electric and hybrid vehicles, in its acquisition of Delta-Q Technologies (Delta-Q), a leader in battery charging solutions for electric vehicles and industrial machines
