Biography
Maddison Zapach is a lawyer in the Vancouver office of Lawson Lundell LLP. She is interested in exploring multiple practice areas with a particular focus on litigation.
Maddison completed her Juris Doctor at the University of British Columbia’s Allard School of Law and received the Law Society Gold Medal. In 2023/24, she served as a Judicial Law Clerk at the BC Supreme Court in Vancouver. During law school, Maddison participated in the judicial externship program at the BC Provincial Court, competed in the Davies’ Annual Corporate/Securities Law Moot, and helped to develop an open source Torts casebook hosted on CanLII.
Prior to attending law school, Maddison obtained her Bachelor of Commerce with a dual specialization in operational logistics and accounting at the UBC Sauder School of Business. She obtained a Commerce Scholar designation for her research in the area of economic analysis of law. During her degree, she served as a teaching assistant, learning content creator, and guest lecturer for eight undergraduate and masters-level courses.
