Max Walker,

Max has a taxation practice and assists in advising clients on:

• Income and sales taxation matters arising in connection with private equity funds and a variety of other transactions;
• Tax compliance issues affecting various types of commercial and non-commercial organizations;
• Pension fund investment taxation and structuring;
• Personal tax and estate planning; and
• British Columbia property transfer tax and sales tax issues.

Max also has a general corporate and commercial practice including practical experience in:

• Share and asset acquisitions;
• Corporate reorganizations; and
• Other corporate proceedings. 

Max has completed all three parts of the CPA In-Depth Tax Program. Max joined Lawson Lundell as a summer student in 2014. Max returned to Lawson Lundell in November 2015 to complete his articles.
