Biography

Samantha is an associate in the Kelowna office of Lawson Lundell and a member of the firm’s Wills and Estates Group and Corporate Commercial Group. Samantha’s practice focuses primarily on estate and trust planning, incapacity planning and estate administration. Samantha also practices in general corporate helping clients structure and grow their businesses, and undertakes corporate restructuring as part of tax-planned corporate reorganizations and estate planning for business owners.


Samantha is a qualified Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) through the global organization STEP; the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Samantha enjoys working with clients and their advisors in formulating business succession plans and estate plans for young professionals, retirees, business owners and high net worth individuals. She prepares wills, powers of attorney, representation agreements, alter ego and joint spousal trusts, family trusts, committeeship applications and other planning documents. Samantha enjoys working with non-residents who own assets in British Columbia, such as real property, to assist them with preparing or modifying their estate plans.


Samantha was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2017, and the Northwest Territories bar in 2024. She obtained her law degree (with Distinction) from the University of Alberta.
