Spotlight

I am thrilled to join the exceptional legal professionals and fantastic people that make Lawson Lundell such a leader in business law and litigation in Western Canada. I am excited to contribute to the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution group, in particular in the areas of trusts and estate litigation and insolvency and restructuring litigation.

Scott Boucher is a partner in the Vancouver office of Lawson Lundell and a member of the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group. His practice focuses on general commercial litigation with an emphasis on trusts and estate litigation as well as insolvency and restructuring matters. He assists clients and other lawyers on a wide variety of matters, including trusts litigation, wills variation and wills validity actions, elder law and capacity issues, insolvency files including receivership, CCAA, bankruptcy and foreclosure proceedings, as well as general contract, corporate and property law issues. He has appeared before the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the British Columbia Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.

After completing an undergraduate degree at UBC, Scott attended law school at Dalhousie University, earning a Schulich Scholarship for academic excellence and community service. He completed summer articles in 2010, before studying at the National University of Singapore on exchange in his third year of law school. He clerked at the Supreme Court of British Columbia in 2012, and completed his full articles in early 2013 before practicing at a global law firm in Vancouver for 11 years.
