Essential Tasks of Pension and Benefit Plan Trustees
Lawson Lundell lawyers, Murray Campbell, John Smith and Megan Kaneen, spoke on February 24 at the Pacific Business & Law Institute's 27th annual 'Essential Tasks of Pension and Benefit Plan Trustees.' The conference assembled leading experts to educate trustees on their legal duties, update them on recent changes in the law and COVID-19 related developments, and to provide them with practical advice to assist in creating successful and sustainable plans.
The full day conference was Chaired by Murray Campbell, head of Lawson Lundell's Pensions and Employee Benefits Group. Murray also gave a presentation on recent legal developments in pension and benefits law. John Smith presented on 'The Keys to Being an Effective Pension and Benefit Plan Trustee: Trustee Responsibilities and Trustee Protection.' Megan Kaneen presented on 'Employee Life and Health Trusts.'
