On May 18, 2011, Chris Sanderson, Q.C. and Keith Bergner received the Premier's Collaboration Award (NWT) for their work on the Mackenzie Gas Project.

The Collaboration Award recognizes the outstanding achievements of Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) employees who work in partnership with other individuals outside the GNWT to improve service for residents.
