Lawson Lundell partner, Keith Bergner, was quoted in the article ‘Top 10 Cases of 2019-2020’ published in the Lexpert Special Edition: Litigation 2020. The article focuses on the most significant decisions delivered by Canadian courts in 2019 to 2020.  

Commenting on a court decision relating to the Environmental Management Act, Keith said the decision provides “a pretty clear statement on the division of powers analysis, ss. 91 and 92 of the Constitution,” adding, "I think it’s useful that five court of appeal and nine Supreme Court of Canada judges all signed on, effectively, to the same set of reasons, which make it a pretty clear statement of the law.”
