Lawson Lundell lawyer Craig Ferris, QC, FCIArb., was quoted in an article by Bloomberg Law, 'Canada Joins U.S. in Nonlawyer Legal Service Ownership Tests,' about the introduction of sandbox programs to increase innovation, allowing law firms to explore new technologies and business structures. 

Craig helped move the program forward in British Columbia when he served as president of the Law Society of British Columbia in 2020. “Would I like to see 100 more proposals? Yes,” Ferris said. “The more jurisdictions that are open to this, maybe then it becomes more attractive to larger companies and firms.”
