The Canadian Institute of Actuaries Annual Conference 2024 | CAPSA Draft Risk Management Guideline: Perspectives from the Regulator, the Bar and Your Profession
On June 11, 2024, Lawson Lundell lawyers Lisa Chamzuk and Jessica Kim will be speaking at the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (CIA) Annual Conference on a panel hosted by the Canadian Association of Pension Supervisory Authorities (CAPSA) titled "Draft Risk Management Guideline: Perspectives from the Regulator, the Bar and Your Profession" in Quebec City.
This three-part panel discussion will focus on legal, regulatory and actuarial perspectives on the CAPSA draft Risk Management Guideline that was published in May of 2023. The presentation will cover what pension practitioners need to know about the content of the guideline and its expected impact on the administration of pension plans when it comes to managing risk in today's world.
