Associate Tim Syer was quoted in a Cabin Radio article in his capacity as president of the Yellowknife Chamber of Commerce. In the article, “Setting out separate plans, chambers battle for small businesses,” Tim commented on the City of Yellowknife’s downtown development reserve and revitalization initiative reserve and how those funds could be used to support businesses during COVID-19.

“We recognize the financial constraints. Nobody is looking for a free lunch. We are suggesting we are repurposing those [reserve] funds: now is the time, that money is sitting there.” said Tim Syer.
