Municipal World Journal published an article by Jim Fraser and Camille Chisholm. In “Property Tax Appeals: Are They Easier Now?”, Jim and Camille wrote  about the Supreme Court of Canada’s decision to clarify the framework for judicial review of administrative decisions. One area this may see immediate use is in the decisions of the Property Assessment Appeal Board.

The article states “The Supreme Court of Canada’s trilogy decisions returned the correctness standard of review to appeal stated cases since such appeals are created by statute.”
