Lawson Lundell partner, Ritu Mahil, was quoted in an article by CBC News about an Air Canada flight attendant who was awarded workers' compensation after contracting COVID-19. The WorkSafe BC decision is expected to pave the way for more rulings like this in the future. 

"This is one decision," Ritu said. "There's going to be cases about airlines, grocery stores, schools, offices anywhere you come into contact with large groups of people."
