Lawson Lundell lawyer Michael Macaulay presented to a group of engineering students yesterday at UBC’s Okanagan campus. He spoke to the Technology Entrepreneurship for Engineers class about considerations around incorporating and structuring technology ventures. Topics covered included share structures, early-stage financing, shareholders’ agreements, and other foundational documents.

Michael is the Administrative Partner of the Firm's Kelowna office, the Co-Lead of our Technology Group, as well as the Chairman for Accelerated Okanagan. Michael devotes significant time to organizations in the B.C. start-up community, including Accelerate Okanagan and entrepreneurship@UBCO.
