Seven Lawson Lundell lawyers have written the Canadian section of the Chambers Global Practice Guides' Litigation 2025 publication, writing both the Law & Practice, and Trends & Developments chapters.

Chambers & Partners produce international rankings for the legal industry in 200 jurisdictions. Every year, they publish a series of Global Practice Guides that provide 'expert legal commentary on the main practice areas in key jurisdictions around the world.' 

Law and Practice Chapter

Craig Ferris, KC, FCIArb., Marko Vesely, KC, Shannon Hayes, KC and Codie Chisholm wrote the Law and Practice chapter for the Canadian section of the Chambers Global Practice Guides' Litigation 2025 publication. The chapter provides a concise overview of litigation law in Canada, covering topics such as litigation funding, pre-trial proceedings, discovery, settlement, appeal and arbitration. 

Trends and Developments Chapter

Laura Bevan, Craig Ferris, KC, FCIArb., Anna Paczkowski and Catherine Whitehead wrote the Trends and Developments chapter for the Canadian section of the Chambers Global Practice Guides' Litigation 2025 publication. The chapter provides insights on key case studies and decisions that have made a significant impact on Canadian litigation law this past year and how that will affect precedents moving forward.
