Overview
Yellowknife is the capital city, and the largest community in Canada’s Northwest Territories. Located on the northern shore of the beautiful Great Slave Lake and just over 500 km south of the Arctic Circle, Yellowknife is home to about 20,000 people, living in a culturally rich capital renowned for its outdoor recreation, midnight sun and the aurora borealis.
Lawson Lundell LLP’s Yellowknife office was established in 1995, and has grown through the merger in 2002 with the firm of Gullberg, Wiest, MacPherson & Kay, which traces its roots in the north back to the late 1950s.
