Ally Bilenkey is an articling student in the Vancouver office of Lawson Lundell. She is interested in exploring all practice areas but has a particular interest in Litigation and Dispute Resolution, as well as Environmental and Indigenous law.

Ally completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Victoria (UVic), where she received a concentration in Environmental Law and Sustainability. Throughout law school, Ally volunteered with the Environmental Law Club, Centre and Clinic; serving as a Club Executive Member, a Student Board Member for the Center, and a Student Clinician. Ally volunteered with Community Legal Assistance Society (CLAS) on the Human Rights Complaint Drafting Project and with Indigenous Perspective Society on a Pro Bono Students Canada (PBSC) Project. In her second year, Ally competed in the Wilson Moot at the Federal Court of Canada in Toronto. In her final year, Ally partook in a full-term field school course on the re-emergence of W̱SÁNEĆ Law and worked as a research assistant for UVic Professor Kathryn Chan on administrative and charity law matters.

Prior to attending law school, Ally completed her Bachelor of Arts in Global Development and Political Studies at Queen’s University. In her third year she participated in an international exchange to École de Gouvernance et d’Économie in Rabat, Morocco.

In her spare time, Ally enjoys live music, a sour beer on a patio, and being active with friends!
