Biography
Brandy Tobin is a paralegal in the Calgary office of Lawson Lundell LLP. Brandy joined the firm in 2018 and works in our Real Estate group. Brandy has been a Paralegal since 2008 and has been working in the area of Real Estate for 10 years. She works on many aspects within the area of Real Estate including: residential, corporate, commercial, development, financing and builder/construction.
Experience:
Brandy's responsibilities include:
- conducting real estate and corporate due diligence searches;
- reviewing title and off title searches;
- managing residential purchase,
sale and financing files; - managing commercial purchase, sale and financing transactions;
- drafting closing documents;
- registrations at Alberta Land Titles office;
- attending to closing and post-closing matters;
- maintaining and reporting on files;
- managing corporate files;
- preparing and maintaining minute books;
- interfacing with parties involved in a transaction;
- project management – large scale commercial transactions;
- managing transactions in the Province of Ontario; and
- use of Ontario electronic registrations system.
