I am thrilled to be joining the outstanding team of lawyers at Lawson Lundell. I look forward to contributing to the firm's continued success as a leading business law firm and being part of Kelowna’s thriving real estate community.

Gabrielle Guarino is an associate in the Kelowna Landmark office of Lawson Lundell and a member of the firm’s Real Estate Group. Her practice focuses on real property and lending transactions in several industry groups. She has experience in transactions involving buying, selling, leasing, financing and developing commercial real estate, including shopping centres, hotels, apartment buildings, office buildings and industrial properties.

Gabrielle advises a broad range of clients such as developers, financial institutions, pension funds, other lenders and investors and Indigenous groups. She also works closely with other practice groups in the Firm to provide real estate advice relating to commercial transactions.

Prior to joining Lawson Lundell, Gabrielle practiced at a large Vancouver law firm and worked in the real estate development sector.

  • A national land developer in the development of land parcels for a mixed-use commercial and residential development
  • Lenders and borrowers in financing real estate developments
  • A purchaser in the acquisition and leaseback of a portfolio of commercial properties across Canada
  • A large property developer on a multi-step subdivision project
  • Developers and industrial companies in the drafting of commercial land-based agreements involving Indigenous groups (e.g., funding agreements, impact benefit agreements, etc.)
  • Mining companies in the preparation of resource extraction agreements for properties across British Columbia
