Biography
Kelsey Wahler is a paralegal in the Kelowna Office of Lawson Lundell LLP. She joined the firm in 2020, and has over 10 years combined experience working in the field of Intellectual Property including patents, trademarks and designs.
Kelsey began her career as a legal assistant for seven years followed by a patent coordinator for two years. She subsequently transitioned to working as a paralegal in the field of intellectual property, where she has resided her entire career.
Experience

- Prepare correspondence and legal documentation relating to patents and trademarks prosecution
- File patent applications direct with CIPO, USPTO, WIPO and indirectly with foreign patent offices worldwide
- Coordinate exchange of information between foreign IP agents, clients
- Coordinate and attend to foreign patent and trademark office requirements including local, federal and international embassy requirements
- Compile, verify, record, process prosecution documents, assignments and other patent and trademark related documentation as required
- Organize and coordinate internal workflow pertaining to management of intellectual property files.
