World Services Group, a professional services network of independent law, accounting and investment banking firms, published an article by Lawson Lundell lawyers Devin Itterman and Shaun Partridge, QC, about the soon to be introduced protections for commercial tenants in Alberta. 

The article states that the bill is "intended to protect commercial tenants from evictions and lease terminations during the COVID-19 pandemic," and that "this legislation and an upcoming regulation will cover the period between March 17, 2020 and August 31, 2020."
