Brendan J. Craig, Partner, Vancouver 

Brendan is a member of the Real Estate and Corporate/Commercial Law Groups. As a real estate lawyer, Brendan advises clients on a variety of real property matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, development, and commercial leasing. In his corporate/commercial practice, Brendan provides general counsel to businesses and societies, and assists with corporate transactions. He advises clients on private mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring and reorganizations, corporate finance, and governance issues.

Paul Kressock, Partner, Vancouver

Paul is a member of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group. He is an experienced trial lawyer with a diverse civil and commercial litigation practice. He regularly advises and acts for clients in real estate and construction litigation, shareholder litigation, insurance and tort litigation, civil fraud and fiduciary claims, and other complex commercial disputes. Paul also has significant experience in judicial reviews and injunctions. Paul has appeared as counsel in all levels of court in British Columbia and before various administrative tribunals and arbitration centres. 

Scott Lucyk, FCIArb., Partner, Vancouver

Scott is a commercial litigation and arbitration lawyer with a focus on complex international and domestic disputes. Scott has advised clients across a variety of industries, including energy, mining, manufacturing, private equity, finance, gaming, pension and technology sectors. Scott also has experience working on matters involving anti-money laundering, cross-border litigation, shareholder, insurance and regulatory disputes, cryptocurrency, and the enforcement of foreign awards in Canada.

Alastair MacKinnon, Partner, Calgary

Alastair is a member of the Environmental & Regulatory Group. His practice focuses on regulatory, environmental and Indigenous law. He advises clients on the regulatory aspects of the full life-cycle of project development and operation. Alastair represents clients before the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER), the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC), and the Canadian Energy Regulator (CER). He also assists clients with administrative/regulatory appeals, judicial review applications, and appeals to the federal and provincial courts of appeal arising from regulatory proceedings.

Max Walker, Partner, Kelowna

Max is a member of the Tax Group. He advises clients on income and sales taxation matters arising in connection with private equity funds and a variety of other transactions; tax compliance issues affecting various types of commercial and non-commercial organizations; pension fund investment taxation and structuring; personal tax and estate planning; and British Columbia property transfer tax and sales tax issues.
